Atelier Boronski working with Urdaneta Zeberio and Lian Satrustegui of IMO Design were awarded 1st Prize in the national design competition for this government project.

It comprises 1,085 sq m of Performance, Rehearsal, Storage and Meeting areas for local performers with offices, catering and other ancillary spaces.  

Taking the neighboring shrine (previously doubling as the Activity center) as a point of departure we selected local elements to re-configure or (miss-read) and develop the form and vocabulary of the new facility. There are clear relationships between the two but it is a playful conversation…

Raw fluted pre-cast concrete wall panels and vibrantly painted steel pipes hold up a thin fluttering roof element.

This project has received the International Golden Pin Award and the FIABCI Taiwan Real Estate Excellence Award.
