This is a diverse and complex cultural building. In our proposal we sought to create something that was inbetween landscape and building. We especially wanted to create good public outdoor and indoor spaces that could easily be enjoyed by many different kinds of people.  Weather serious art enthusiasts, accademics or just local families out for a sunny place to picnic this proposal is welcoming. There is lots of grass to relax on, a library, art classrooms and a lecture hall, as well as spaces for shopping and restaurants. Parking is underground and there are numerous energy efficient strategies incorporated.
